Our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact by teaching individuals strategies on how to maintain their safety.
Trauma survivors tend to feel unsafe in their bodies, in their environments and relationships with others, making it a challenge to transition out of abusive relationships found at learning facilities, religious organizations, the workplace, and at home. Our workshops focus on safe commute, feeling safe in our bodies, safety in the workplace and how to safely transition out of an abusive relationship.
Description: In this workshop you will learn how trauma impacts your Career and Job, from how you make career and job decisions to how you perform to how you can learn to switch from Surviving to Excelling and Thriving. It’s totally possible!
In this workshop you’ll also learn:
- What is trauma?
- What’s attachment and why it is so important?
- The impact of being children of alcoholic parents and/or growing up in dysfunctional families
- What is career stress?
- What is performance anxiety?
About Our Presenter: Christie Pearl is a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDR Consultant in private practice in Massachusetts and Virginia. She specializes in EMDR Intensives for Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families who are struggling with work stress and performance anxiety to create a healthier relationship with work so that they can own their brilliance and be who they want to be today, instead of who they had to be as children.
