About the Event
Time Of Butterflies Mission: Time Of Butterflies creates a supportive community that provides a healing space for women of color.
Vision: We counter the experience of trauma with a sensitive and competent multidisciplinary response. We focus on community building, by providing a space for women to come together. We believe that the best healing happens within a community, and our goal is to provide resources, workshops and events to help improve the quality of life of women affected by trauma.
This workshop will focus on breathwork and how it can help heal trauma, relieve stress, and improve our mental and physical health.
Carrie will be discussing breathwork and how it can help heal. She will provide tips and tricks to help manage stress levels and relax and reset the nervous system. Most of the session will be devoted to a guided breathwork and tips to practice it on your own time.
Description: In this workshop, Carrie will provide tips and tricks to help start activating the mind, body and soul inside all of us, which impacts our mental and physical health. You’ll learn and practice breathwork techniques that help relax and reset the nervous system.
In this workshop you’ll learn:
- How breathwork can help heal trauma.
- Different ways to practice breathwork.
- Valuable tips and tricks to help your stress levels.
- Empowerment of using your own body as a way to relieve stress and heal.
About Our Presenter: Carrie Kube
Carrie Kube has trained and worked within proven science and compassion-based modalities, providing support for survivors of all types of trauma, since April of 2019.
She offers in- person and online retreats and support groups as well as private online mentoring for people who are serious about making healing changes in their lives.
Carrie's mission is to facilitate education and healing around safe communication and connection. Her vision is to champion a community of empowered people who love themselves and enjoy healthy relationships. Her hope is to offer a safe space for people to connect and heal their relationship to self and others.
Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Drury University. She holds an international credential in Trauma Recovery. Carrie is also a Transformational Breathwork Facilitator, and an Accelerated Evolution Practitioner.
